6. This is a safe place for teachers and students: You will not bully, intimidate, or harass any user. You will not post content that: is hate speech, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
7. You will not use Sodalitious to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory.
8. You will not distribute files (intellectual property) to any other website or storage/retrieval device without written permission from Sodalitious.
9. You agree to maintain a working email address that we'll use should you need help with the site such as password retrieval, etc.

In Return, We Agree That...

1. We value your privacy, so we'll never share information with anyone else without your permission. This includes your email address, posts, photos, and any other intellectual content that you create and post.
2. Your personal information is safeguarded, and we will keep it that way.
3. We won't SPAM your email; if you sign up for newsletters, we'll provide a way for you to stop subscriptions as well.
4. If you indicate during signup that you wish your profile to be private, it will remain that way unless you switch to a public setting.
5. You will always control your personal information. Email addresses will, regardless, be kept private unless you wish to share with another user.
6. If you are a student, your grades and performance information will be kept strictly private.
7. All content on this site is either "fair use" for education, or copyright Sodalitious. If you believe that something violates another copyright, please reach out and contact us.

Sodalitious is the teaching and learning website of David Hildebrand

The site—BaltimoreTeacher.com—started in 2003 while Mr. Hildebrand was interning at Dunbar High School.

At the time, phones were "dumb" as far as the internet, and very few students had them anyway.

The goal of the site was to provide static links to other places on the web, and to teaching documents normally printed and distributed in class.

As technology has grown, the site has aimed to bring together dynamic content served to users based on the actual learning setting— to provide interactive content for teacher and student.

In 2012, the site was rebranded and extensively re-designed using a bootstrap framework that would optimize the viewpoints for phone, tablet or desktop.
